Scale Captain:  John Brook .

Don Sutton and the Recreation Department of the Veteran Wing of Sunnybrook Hospital have arranged for a display of model boats, mainly battleships and aircraft carriers, from the WWII.  This is the second time this happened.  Last year the response of the veterans was amazing according to the reports.  Some which hardly could remember their own names, all of a sudden came to life and talked about their times during the war and the ships they were on.  This prompted everybody to continue and maybe create a tradition.
The show was held in the K-Wing on Saturday, March 31, 2007 from 1:30 p.m. till 4:30 p.m.

Scale Model Division Introduction
You've built  her, fitted her out, from a kit or scratch build form the plans, an exact scale model of  your own ship!  Be it super tanker or tug boat, battle cruiser or cabin cruise, with R/C at your command, you ring  slow  dock and you're underway.  From the boat in the bottle,- to gentle breezes upon a sail,- to gas powered craft zipping by you at 100 mph+.

The Scale division is primarily devoted to to construction of any craft outfitted with some sort of radio control.  In the world of model boat building all models are some form of a scale model. Here at Metro Marine we offer you a warm hand to come out and visit us at our many events and see what we are all about...Also if you need a tip, assembling that new kit, or  just want to contact us  we will steer you in the right direction.
